Mediacorp Day 3

Practically for me, it was slacking day. cos i only have to report at 3pm compared to the 11am and 9am the 2 previous day. Followed on, still can go see Sun Yan Zi, not bad hor. So i reached there at 3 plus and i was sweating like dunno wad cos i'm wearing 2 long sleeves. Shuxian told me to try not to wear tee shirt.. ZZZZ. so i have to borrowed from Shumin lor. Sianx

Reached there, read a bit of 8 days in the office (as usual lah). Then the office was exceptionally noisy that day, Shuang xi saw me stoning there and den she was telling me that the office is exceptionally noisy which is suppose to be not the case. haha kinda joking ard with me. set off to our destination at 3.30pm. Went to the camera unit where the mediacorp buses are parked at and off we go. The Yes 933 Press Conference is located at some ulu area called St James PowerStation near Harbour Front Shopping Center. As usual, i tot i was suppose to go to some serious function cos it involves the announcement of who is actually coming to SG for the Yes 933 award ceremony and the reveal of the Medal. When i step in.. i was like "Wah.. how come all i go de press conference all is macham disco 1 leh.." Den i didn't noe i have entered a Pub until the MC, Ding Zhi Yong said so.

Saw the medal and damn chio sia and of cos i saw sun yan zi lah. Quite close up cos i'm standing infront. Den the Ding Zhi Yong was joking abt last time they reveal that 2 ppl had comfirm that they will go to the award ceremony, that is Him and Wu Xu Ma Li, den the next day already more than 100 tickets sold LOL. den he look to my area and say "Thanx to Wu Xu Ma Li.." Den i was thinking "Wu xu ma li here meh?", so i turn to my right and she's just beside me standing quite close. =.=..

Basically all the crappy talkings though at times quite entertaining. after everything, we went upstairs for a 1-1 interview with Sun Yan Zi. First one with other press den followed by ch8 alone. i didn't go in, i just stood there like a stoner and look at the camera man set up the cameras and stuff. They ask me to sit at yan zi chair so that they can adjust the camera, since my height agar the same(realli meh, i think i shortie man). Den after a while Shu Xian came back and then interview yan zi lor. they took so long to put the mic on for yan zi. But whatever, i just stood there and see, see until very tired and my back is aching lah.. So sianx till i dun even feel like seeing le. Hahaha.. Den also dun realli like her.

I realise something... I always thought that reporters job are damn cool as they get to see stars and they get to interview them. Bud sometimes when u came to see a star with the Label "I am here to work." It is seriously not fun at all but boring. Sometimes reporters still have to tahan some Big shots black face and the questions they prepared might kinda offend them.

I did not take any pictures at all nor i dare to request to take pic with sun yan zi. It's like i'm not keen at all anywae since she's not my idol and at the same time, i dun think its realli that appropriate to take photos of her Secretly(cos i dunno can or not lah) since i'm carrying the name "reporter", like make till ppl thing how come MCS Reporter so not professional de. But i did take photos of camera man at work and i secretly took 1 photo of Shu Xian interviewing Yan zi. LOL bud shuxian block yan zi =.=. Okay wadever. just for show nia. LOL

After everything we went down to have our food and drinks. the pub is quite nice in fact. Met another person who is attached to MCS radio station :D haha happen to be my senior or smth. i was in AJ for first 3 months and den switch to JJ. she was in JJ for first 3 months bud switch to AJ haha. Shuxian kept commenting that i am here for holiday sia can get to see Stars. lol Den we went back to MCS in a cab. Actually i can go home str8 from harbour front. Bud i still haven noe my duties next week and my ezlink card is left at the reception counter. =.=.. So i went back and the 6.30pm news gonna finish le. That night, the 6.30pm news got error sia. i think mediacorp's fault for cutting off the news when its still showing. Not even overrun yet lor. too bad i didn't get to see it, bud lay hoon did.

We were assigned our jobs.. and its my turn to follow Lynn Xu Yun Ling(the chiobu broadcaster haha) the following day around to see how her job was like. Feel so scare to approach her can.. cos last friday when i saw her, she look kinda fierce when she's at work lol, especially when she don't smile. But of cos she looks realli pretty and she gib me the impression that she is professional. So i took quite a long time to initiate a talk with her asking her wad time i have to report tmr. She's quite friendly in fact, and ask me to report to the office at 2pm for work and she give me her no. in case i couldn't get into the TV Building(cos the visitor pass seriously sux). Den later she asked me if i wan to come to the Mooncake festival Celebration at the canteen at 12pm, but she may not be going. Diaos. So end of day!! Knock off from work le :D

Opinion: I am starting to feel better and not like everybody is a stranger in that area le. Somehow closer to them cos they are damn friendly. Maybe in Day 1 my impression of that office was rather "Cold".. and now in day 3, i realli feel kinda attached to that place and have plenty of fun there :D. In fact, whether where u go or wad job u take up.. whether the place is fun or not depends solely on u.. depends on how u look at it. If u come to work with a sianx attitude, u will feel that everything in life is boring.(but studying is diff case hor! i am sick of it le hahah) For me, i am feeling rather happy everyday going to work there though after the end of the day i feel so tired. But still i am happy.

realli can't bear to part so soon. if only we were attached longer >.<
